Out of Balance
To determine the period you are Out of Balance follow the steps below:
- Click on the Scale Icon and check the Difference column.
- If the Difference column is not zero (0) when the Out of Balance is in this month.
- If the Difference column is zero (0) then the Out of Balance could be payroll related or the Out of Balance is in some other period.
- If you determine the Out of Balance is in some other period. Then change the Current Accounting Period.
- Start back at step 1 and keep going until you find the Out of Balance.
Note: A lot of time simply going back to a prior period and returning to the current period solves the problem.
