Various Restore Problems
- Compressed File Data is Corrupt or open by another workstation
- The data is corrupted - Remove/move the {client #}.mbd file.
Then try restoring again.
- The program was ended abnormally - Check for a {client #}.ldb
file and remove it if you are sure one is in the client. Then try restoring
again.
- Can't Process "d{#}.mdb" File Not Found - You get this message while trying to restore your data if the name of the Zip file does not match the name of the MDB file contained in the Zip file. (ie: CWU2252.Zip -> D225.MDB).
What you need to do is rename the Zip file to match the MDB file name. (ie: CWU2252.Zip -> CWU225.MDB)
Note: The system truncates the first (3) letters from the name of the Zip file and then tries to match that number to the name of the MDB file.
- The file "C:\PCSW\TEMP\D#.MDB" already exists. Do you want to replace this file? - You get this message while trying to copy WINCCB data into WINCWU if the file exists. Just say Yes to overwrite the file.
Other Programs -> Windows Computer Checkbook -> Copy Transactions/Accounts/Employees/Vendors
Note: The system:
- Creates the C:\PCSW\Temp folder if it doesn't exist.
- Unzips the WINCCB data into the folder (ie: D162.mdb).
- Copies the transaction/Accounts/Employees out.
- Erases the file.
- You get Error 3024: Could Not Find File when you click OK to unzip a client.
This means the client file no longer exists but the Client List still shows the number. Click Close and run Utitiltes -> Rebuild File List and then unzip the data.
