MICR Codes
Overview
The MICR Check Option allows you to print MICR Codes on your checks. This option does not come with the basic system. You have to pay for this option.
The option is activated with a Site License. So if you decide to get this option later on, you will need a new Site License to activate it.
Things to Remember
- You must have the font Advmicr.ttf - MICR E13B 2.1BT loaded to print MICR Codes. If your computer does not have this font available then you will not get MICR Codes to print on your checks, even if the MICR Option is activated. You will just get numbers and letters. (i.e.: C1234567C)
Note: There has been several instances were the person has a strange ADVMICR.TTF file installed. It shows up twice under Fonts. Which causes the one we send not to be installed. You need to manually remove the (2) files and install the one we send.
We do included the font file AdvMICR.ttf on the CD-ROM. So if you need to you can load the font from our CD.
