Employee Deductions

1. If the deduction is exempt from state tax (401K) it must be added to the State Tax Jurisdiction.
   
   
2. The employee is married but want to have Federal Tax figured as if there are single.
   
   Go into Check Writing Employee Setup and click on Single under the Federal Tax Table Section. The system figures the rate based upon what is says here.
   
   Setup -> Payroll -> Check Writing Employee Setup
