Messages While Converting

• While converting you get the following message:
  
  Disk is Full
  
  This means your hard drive is full and that you will need to free up some hard disk space.
  
  
• While converting you get the following message:
  
  Client Exists
  
  This means that the client all ready exists. So you have to remove this client before you can convert the DOS client.
  
  File -> Delete
  
  If the client isn't listed on the file list follow the step below. This should put the client into the list.
  
  Setup -> Rebuild File List
  

Problems After Converting

• Cannot Change Current Reporting Period - The Date of Initial Balances is the same as the period when data was converted. You cannot go into any other period after you convert.
  
  The person did not update to the latest version of the DOS program (3.1 - 009) before converting the data. They will have to update the DOS program and convert the data again.
