Alternate G/L Transaction Entry

Overview

This option offers a different way to enter General Ledger Transactions. Some people find this screen easier and quicker then the normal transaction entry screen.

• To set where the cursor returns to after entering a transaction.
  
  Setup -> Company -> Options 2 (Tab)
  
  
  1. Reference Number Field
  2. Date Field
  3. Description Field
  
  
• The fields are totally black on Windows XP machines if the Default Color Scheme is set to Silver. Changing the Color Scheme back to Default Blue fixes the problem.
  
  
  1. Right click the Desktop
  2. Left click Properties
  3. Click on the Apperance Tab
  4. Click on the Advanced Button
  5. Select Default Blue from the Color Scheme pull-down
