Installing Windows Computer Checkbook

This instructions are for Version 4.61.01 or earlier

Using Windows Computer Checkbook CD

Windows 9x or NT

1. Close all programs
2. If they have a prior version of Computer Checkbook installed, remove it.
   
   Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
   
   
3. Once you have removed the prior version, insert the CD-ROM into the computer
4. The installation should start automatically if not browse to the CD-ROM and click on the setup.exe located in the main folder

Windows 2000 or Me

1. Cancel the Windows CCB installation if you are running Windows 2000 or Windows ME
   
2. Click on My Computer and find the CD-ROM.
   
3. Right Click on the CD-ROM and select Explore
   
4. Click on the appropriate folder (Win2000 or WinME to access its contents and then click on the setup.exe located in the folder.
   

Using Windows Client Write-Up CD

1. Cancel the Windows CWU installation.
   
2. Click on My Computer and find the CD-ROM.
   
3. Right Click on the CD-ROM and select Explore
   
4. Click on the WinCCB folder.
   
   
   • If running Windows 9x or NT click on Setup.exe (45K - Application)
     
   • If ME click on the WinME folder and then Setup.
   • If 2000 click on the Win2000 folder and then Setup.
