Installing Windows CCB

These instructions are for Version 4.62.02 or later

1. Close all programs
2. If they have a prior version of Computer Checkbook installed, remove it.
   
   Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
   
   
3. Once you have removed the prior version, insert the CD-ROM into the computer
4. Select the directory where you want the program to install to
5. Select what you want to install and continue on
   
   Client Write-Up and Sample Data
   Computer Checkbook and Sample Data
   Custom Installation
   
   Note: A Custom installation allows you to install both the Client Write-Up and Computer Checkbook at one time. You can also select if you want the Sample Data installed or not.
   
   
6. The system will install your selection(s) unless the version of the Windows Installer they have is to old. A window will pop up informing you of this and Windows will abort the installation. If this is the case install the newer version of the Windows Installer InstMsi.exe contained on the CD-ROM and restart the installation.
